Diorama is a new venture focused on artist driven narrative and documentary storytelling.
The partners’ first collaboration was 2021’s MOMENT OF TRUTH for Amazon Studios / IMDBtv, which marked Perniciaro’s documentary series directorial debut. The company recently premiered Juan Pablo Gonzalez’s DOS ESTACIONES at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, as well as MY NAME IS ANDREA from filmmaker Pratibha Parmar, NAKED GARDENS from filmmakers Ivete Lucas and Patrick Bresnan, at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. They are currently in production on the feature length documentaries UNTITLED for Interscope / Universal Music, TRACERS, based on the award winning stage play, WELCOME SPACE BROTHERS from filmmaker Jodie Wile and BORN WILD from director Adam McClelland.
As a producer, Perniciaro was previously a founding member of Bow and Arrow Entertainment with recent credits including THE TRUFFLE HUNTERS for Sony Pictures Classics, THE FIGHT for Magnolia/Hulu, and DISCLOSURE: TRANS LIVES ON SCREEN for Netflix, all of which premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. 2019 releases included NATIVE SON for HBO/A24, which premiered as the opening night selection of the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, and Alex Ross Perry’s HER SMELL, starring Elisabeth Moss.
